Ukraine will work with the administration of Donald Trump, who is winning the elections in the United States, to strengthen the Ukrainian-American strategic partnership and bring a comprehensive, just and durable peace closer.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiga, said this on the X social network, reports Ukrinform.
“President Zelenskyi and President Trump have a long, constructive and result-oriented dialogue. We will work together to strengthen the Ukrainian-American strategic partnership and bring a comprehensive, just and durable peace closer. We rely on America’s resolute leadership,” Sybiga said.

I appreciate President Trump’s commitment to the “peace through strength” approach in global affairs,” Zelensky said.
He emphasized that “it is this principle that can really bring a just peace in Ukraine closer.”
“I hope that we will implement it together. We look forward to an era of a strong United States of America under the determined leadership of President Trump. We count on further strong bipartisan support for Ukraine in the United States,” Zelenskyi’s message reads.
The President also noted that Ukraine is interested in the development of mutually beneficial political and economic cooperation that will benefit both our countries.
“Ukraine, as one of the strongest military states in Europe, strives to ensure long-term peace and security in Europe and the transatlantic community with the support of our allies. I look forward to the opportunity to personally congratulate President Trump and discuss ways to strengthen Ukraine’s strategic partnership with the United States,” Zelenskyi said.
